Laura and Tom ~ Getting to Know You Session

Yesterday was a beautiful day in Charleston. Perfect weather,no humidity, sunny skies and beautiful smiles! I met Laura and Tom for their getting to know you session downtown. I surprised them with a bucket of popcorn, candy, soda and a great movie ~ Chocolat. Laura is almost as big a Johnny Depp fan as I am!! (hehe)
Tom, like my husband Mark, endulge our silly fantasies with posters, beach towels and movies. Chocolat is sooo romantic and of course JD is the STAR!

They are getting married next May at Wild Dunes! I am so looking forward to seeing them again. They even brought me a gift. I will show you later!!!

Emory and Sutton in their dressup clothes

What a blast I had on the beach last night with little Sutton and Emory! Nancy's mom, Pat, designed and made these adorable dresses the girls are wearing. Pat is hoping to start a clothing business and I think she should right away!!! These dresses are totally adorable and the girls were having the time of their lives running around and playing in them!

I love these little detail shots

The colors in these dresses are gorgeous! I could never pick a favorite. I loved all of them.

Here is my favorite shot of the night!

I also spent the last few mornings taking sunrise photos with a few vacationing families. I have to share with you how much I LOVE being on the beach watching the sun rise over the ocean. It reaffirms so much for me. Why we moved here, how much God is really present even with all the negative things going on in our world, and to give thanks for all the blessings great and small....

LHG H.A.T Conference

I had the privilege of photographing a very special conference held at Wild Dunes Resort Monday and Tuesday. This group of people all work for Lowe Destination Development. The Human Resource, IT and and Financial groups from all of Lowe's properties came together for their annual conference here. The Sweetgrass Pavilion looked beautiful and there was lots of fun, food, drink and conversation to be enjoyed.

The regatta on Tuesday was a blast!

The evening ended with a lovely dinner at the Grand Pavilion.

The Gray Family ~ Wild Dunes Resort

I met the sweetest family last night for photos on the beach at Wild Dunes. Parker, their 14 month old is the most beautiful little boy. I loved spending time with them as they walked the beach, dug in the sand and played together. We talked about how fast life goes by and how important it is to enjoy life and our children! They are starting out on the right foot.

Flying babies...what fun.

A quiet moment

This is Parker. Isn't he cute

I just love this one! It is my favorite.

walking away...see their footprint trail

The Himebaugh Family

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Debbie and Don Himebaugh and their triplets, Matt, Chris and Michelle. Debbie is a realtor with ERA Tides Realty in Mt. Pleasant and Don is in Property Management with Azalea Property Management. After taking some photos on the beach we went up to Edgar's Restaurant at the Link's Golf Course at Wild Dunes for dinner and to listen to some great music by one of my favorite local musicians...my husband Mark!

The Berwald Family

I met the Berwald family this afternoon at Wild Dunes for a family photo shoot. We wanted the beach but it was too windy and too sunny by the time we started. The grassy area around Shipwatch gave us some nice backgrounds to work with!
This is Bruce, the dad with his beautiful ha rum!

These are the girls: Rebecca, Ariel and Sarah

This is Sarah! I just happened to suggest we put her in the tree and then mom told me they call her "monkey!"

This was their last day of Spring Break. They leave for St. Louis tomorrow.
I will miss them.
