The Bernstein's

Last night I met Wendy and Darren out on Sullivan's Island with their adorable daughter Nora. We had such a great time. Darren put together a kite I brought and Nora loved flying it! We dug in the sand and played in the ocean. They were such fun to spend time with.

The Perfect Beach Day

What a fun day I had yesterday! I spent the morning and evening with Mary Ellen Martin and her family at 126 Ocean Blvd. They rented this lovely house for the week and from what I saw of them yesterday, it was a fun-filled and memorable vacation. I first met up with them on the beach for some candids of the family hanging out. We then hit the pool and later that night, once everyone was cleaned up and rested, we shot more family photos around the property and on the beach.

Here are a few shots I took. I LOVE this one!

Joanna and Jeff ~ Sullivan's Island

I got a chance to get to know Jeff and Joanna a bit more last night when we met at Station 19 for some engagement shots. I brought a blanket and a bottle of wine along as a little surprise for them! They are so cute, relaxed and easy-going! I am really looking forward to their wedding in September!

They met back in 1995 (what took you so long Jeff?) through some mutual friends and they have traveled a lot together since then. They love the beach and have spent time in Wilmington and Wrightsville. They went to Germany for the World Cup in 06 and Jeff proposed in Jamaica!! Sounds romantic.

The Cumming's

Once again I had the joy of taking pictures for Gayle and Larry's family while they were here on vacation! I love when my families call me year after year. It means so much to me that they ask again and again. The other thing that makes it so much fun is to see how the children grow and change, how the babies are "popping out" and how the parents and grandparents somehow never age!!

This is Alia. She is so photogenic.

The Gray Family ~ Wild Dunes Resort

I met the sweetest family last night for photos on the beach at Wild Dunes. Parker, their 14 month old is the most beautiful little boy. I loved spending time with them as they walked the beach, dug in the sand and played together. We talked about how fast life goes by and how important it is to enjoy life and our children! They are starting out on the right foot.

Flying babies...what fun.

A quiet moment

This is Parker. Isn't he cute

I just love this one! It is my favorite.

The Himebaugh Family

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Debbie and Don Himebaugh and their triplets, Matt, Chris and Michelle. Debbie is a realtor with ERA Tides Realty in Mt. Pleasant and Don is in Property Management with Azalea Property Management. After taking some photos on the beach we went up to Edgar's Restaurant at the Link's Golf Course at Wild Dunes for dinner and to listen to some great music by one of my favorite local musicians...my husband Mark!

The Berwald Family

I met the Berwald family this afternoon at Wild Dunes for a family photo shoot. We wanted the beach but it was too windy and too sunny by the time we started. The grassy area around Shipwatch gave us some nice backgrounds to work with!
This is Bruce, the dad with his beautiful ha rum!

These are the girls: Rebecca, Ariel and Sarah

This is Sarah! I just happened to suggest we put her in the tree and then mom told me they call her "monkey!"

This was their last day of Spring Break. They leave for St. Louis tomorrow.
I will miss them.
