Joanna and Jeff ~ Sullivan's Island

I got a chance to get to know Jeff and Joanna a bit more last night when we met at Station 19 for some engagement shots. I brought a blanket and a bottle of wine along as a little surprise for them! They are so cute, relaxed and easy-going! I am really looking forward to their wedding in September!

They met back in 1995 (what took you so long Jeff?) through some mutual friends and they have traveled a lot together since then. They love the beach and have spent time in Wilmington and Wrightsville. They went to Germany for the World Cup in 06 and Jeff proposed in Jamaica!! Sounds romantic.

Sheena and Hayden ~ Seabrook Island

Sheena and Hayden had the perfect, fairytale wedding Sunday night at the Seabrook Island Club. I have loved getting to know these two over the past year. They are so sweet and so in love!
I loved this photo of their rings.

They had a large wedding and I had lots of help! Kelley, my wonderful assistant, set up a great slideshow of the ceremony for the guests at the reception and took some shots as well. Kate and Jon were also busy catching angles that I couldn't get to! Jon Shumpert is a good friend and local photographer here.

Our little ring bearer was totally cool!

Piper wanted MY job!

The DJ, The Party Machine, had everyone out on the dance floor. Check out more dancing on the slide show!

You can check out their slideshow here!
Don't forget to log onto my site to see all the photos!

I had to share this email I just received!!!
Thanks Pam!
Lea, I can honestly say that I enjoyed being a member of the bridal party. Usually it is all work and no play but with this wedding ...... if someone said they did not have fun, they must be from another planet !!! You did a FANTASTIC job. I had thought that during all of this but seeing the pictures and slideshow, you were beyond fantastic. All of my co-workers were speechless, as they watched the slide show. I made sure that all of them had your information.

Also to mention, you have a great personality and that made the picture taking process (for us) more fun than dread !!!!! Wait till Sheena & Hayden see all of this !!!!!!

Susannah and Nate ~ Beach Wedding

Susannah and Nate got married Saturday night on the beach on Isle of Palms. They had lots of family and friends around witness their marriage and to help them celebrate. The evening could not have been more perfect. Blue skies, a gorgeous sunset and a beautiful backdrop made for some great photos. I was lucky too to have my friend, Kate McKinley shooting with me! She is a great new photographer. Check out her blog here

These are Susannah's girls - Addison and Erin
Aren't they beautiful!

I thought this photo was hysterical! Their friends were so much fun.

You can check out their slideshow here!
Let me know the name of the house they were married at in the comments section and you could win a $15 photo gift certificate!

Tennis and Dogs

Yesterday was such a wonderful day. Mark and I played hookie and spent the morning and afternoon at the Family Circle Cup on Daniel Island. I had loaned my small point and shoot to my dad so I got no photos...just memories. We had box seats on the net and I was only feet away from VENUS WILLIAMS as she won yet another match to move on to the semi-finals. Yesterday were the quarter-final rounds. It was amazing.

Later on I met up with Kathy and her two cute dogs, Jobe and Bogart on Sullivan's Island. We had fun taking photos and playing on the beach. Here are a few of the shots from that sitting. Jobe is a schnauzer and Bogart is a "Schnoodle."

The Berwald Family

I met the Berwald family this afternoon at Wild Dunes for a family photo shoot. We wanted the beach but it was too windy and too sunny by the time we started. The grassy area around Shipwatch gave us some nice backgrounds to work with!
This is Bruce, the dad with his beautiful ha rum!

These are the girls: Rebecca, Ariel and Sarah

This is Sarah! I just happened to suggest we put her in the tree and then mom told me they call her "monkey!"

This was their last day of Spring Break. They leave for St. Louis tomorrow.
I will miss them.

Just Chillin' with the Kids of Just Chill Restaurant

Hi everyone! Want a really great casual restaurant? You have to check out Just Chill in Park West across from Pinckney and Laurel Hill Elementary Schools. It is great. Mischelle and Suzanne are not only wonderful women of God, they are hard working entrepreneurs who started this great family hang out. I took photo's of their children last year for the restaurant and it was time for an update. We hit Station 18 on Sullivan's Island for a sunset beach session.

This is Jordan. She probably changed the most since last year! I thought she was a senior!

Mackenzie has the most beautiful red hair!

Hampton was a big HAM. He loved posing for me.

Delaney (cool name huh?) loved the camera and it loved her back.

Tyler was a lot like Jordan and loved to ham it up.

I think this might be a restaurant shot.

Let me know if you eat at Just Chill!
