Well, I thought being together for 10 years before getting married was a long time! This couple made it eleven!! Their families were so happy yesterday when they finally got married under the gazebo at White Point Garden. Kate rode down to the park with Allyson and her dad in a beautiful carriage. After a lovely ceremony which they wrote themselves, we headed to Patriot's Point for photos and then back downtown for a champagne toast in the Elliot House garden. Kate and I made a brief stop into Poogan's Porch with the family to cut the cake and toss the bouquet!
