Marriah and David ~ Married at the Rice Mill

Well, it didn't take Marriah and David too much time to figure out they belonged together - only about TEN years!! Everyone was so happy last night that these two wonderful and warm people FINALLY got married! Their venue, the historic Rice Mill off Lockwood was impeccably decorated thanks to Marriah, her sisters and a few extra last minute helpers! Marriah did all the decorating including the table settings, flowers, bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. She also designed her wedding gown. Her mother made the most beautiful purses for her and the bridesmaids. There were so many more meaningful touches ~ a rose placed on an empty chair in remembrance of her father, a pocket watch for David, a painting by one of Marriah's students that family and friends could sign and the most incredible cake I have ever tasted made by one of her student's fathers.

David even wrote a song and played it while Marriah and her Grandmother walked down the aisle!

Everything was done so well. The Rice Mill and Good Food Catering did an awesome job with all the food. Bryan Mahanes from Other Brother Entertainment wore many hats last night and did an amazing job on guitar and as the DJ! He had everyone out there dancing, including me!
